Our history
In March 2023 Honan Insurance Group, one of Australia and New Zealand’s fastest-growing brokers acquired Certus Insurance Brokers.
Established in 2001 by Mike Sheehan, Warren Robertson and Stephen Springhall, Certus Insurance Brokers has worked hard to establish itself as a leading insurance brokerage for domestic and commercial customers. Known for innovative risk-based solutions, our focus on fostering long-term relationships with our customers and insurers has seen us become a successful brokerage throughout New Zealand. To have this recognised by Honan - a bold, challenger brand on a rapid growth trajectory, is exceptional.
